West Mercia Fork Trucks was established in 1971 in the West Midlands.
Since then, we have introduced many significant technological and operational
developments and today the name West Mercia is synonymous with quality
and reliability in the Fork Truck market place.
Throughout this period, one aspect of our business that has remained unchanged
is our total commitment to customer service.
We believe that this commitment, combined with some of the very best engineering
solutions and our appreciation of the need to work within budgets, are
qualities that our customers value and, indeed, quite rightly expect.
Many of our customers work to critical timescales in fast moving and demanding
distribution chains. Downtime is not only costly – it can also prove
to be commercially disastrous. Our customers cannot afford to operate
with unreliable partners and poor technical support – neither will
they tolerate second-rate service.
We take time to understand our customers’ requirements, their pressures
of work and issues vital to their operations. In doing so, we are able
to structure our service to provide the level of support on which they
can rely.
We are proud of our reputation and believe our future is based on maintaining
our commitment to customer service. This means being prepared to listen
to what our customers have to say and adopt new ideas. It means keeping
a close eye on new technology and working in partnership with both customers
